After several weeks of intensified speculation, and intrigue, the rumors have been validated as ‘Coach Prime’ Deion Sanders has been named as the new Head Football Coach of the University of Colorado.

First and foremost, Go Buffs!

University of Colorado has hired three Black head football coaches in a row. A once proud program, the Buffalos have only enjoyed two winning seasons since 2005 and finished (1-11) in 2022. Unfortunately, the UC athletic department has simply been unable to generate excitement or energy in a fan base that has grown accustom to four win seasons. And that all changed when they hired Prime Time.

And the SWAC had the most electrifying man in college football for 3+ years, what did they build to make sure the momentum continues? Probably not much, but we’ll see.
