HUMAN TORCH FOREVER

In 2017, the Orlando Magic received two important assets in a trade with the Toronto Raptors, in exchange for veteran forward Serge Ibaka: a first-round pick in the 2017 Draft that would manifest into Jonathan Isaac, and a 6’7 guard-forward from the University of Washington.

Terrance Ross would spend the next seven seasons as a sharp-shooting leader on a Magic team.

Ross played in 42 games this season with Orlando, starting in nine of those games, averaging eight points per game. He also scored in double figures 12 times and 20+ points twice, including a season-high 29 points on Oct. 22 vs. the Boston Celtics. Overall, Ross appeared in 349 career games (55 starts) with the Magic, averaging twelve points per game. According to the team, T-Ross ranks sixth on both Orlando’s all-time three-pointers made list with 697 and three-pointers attempted list with 1,986.

UPDATE: As of 2/1/2023, 4:17 pm, Terrance Ross has officially entered free agency, along with Patrick Beverley, per the Orlando Magic front office.
