UCF continued their winning streak with a dominating 88-80 victory over No. 11 Texas Tech on Saturday. Themus Fulks led the way with 21 points, including a clutch jumper in the final minute to secure the win.

This was UCF’s third consecutive conference win, a feat they haven’t achieved since joining the Big 12 three years ago. The Knights held the lead for the majority of the game and outworked the Red Raiders in the paint, outscoring them 21-4 on second-chance points.

J.T. Toppin put up a strong performance for Texas Tech with 27 points and 10 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Knights. UCF’s John Bol also had a standout game with a career-high 14 points and 10 rebounds, earning his second double-double of the season.

JaMichael Stillwell and Jordan Burks also contributed to the Knights’ victory, each recording double-doubles with 10 points and 10 rebounds for Stillwell and 17 points for Burks.

Despite hitting 11 three-pointers, including three from Christian Anderson, Texas Tech struggled to make shots when it mattered most, missing their last six attempts from behind the arc.

Looking ahead, UCF will face a tough challenge as they travel to take on No. 4 Houston on Wednesday. Texas Tech will have a quick turnaround as they host No. 14 Kansas on Monday.

The Knights’ impressive win over a ranked opponent has solidified their position as a strong contender in the Big 12. With their well-rounded performances and strong teamwork, UCF is poised to continue their winning streak and make a statement in the conference.
