The Big 12 will be debuting a state-of-the-art digital court during this year’s basketball tournament. The league will be the first in the United States to host a competition on the new LED video sports floor, solidifying their commitment to innovation and elevating the game.
This groundbreaking partnership with ASB GlassFloor will bring interactive digital graphics to the courts, including dynamic court designs, shot charts, and games for fans to enjoy during timeouts. The technology has previously been used at high-profile events such as the 2024 NBA All-Star Game and EuroLeague games.
Not only will this new court technology enhance the viewer experience, but it has also received positive feedback from players and coaches. UCF coach Johnny Dawkins had the opportunity to test the court with his team before the start of the season, and they were impressed with its performance.
The Big 12 women’s basketball tournament will take place on March 4-8, followed by the men’s tournament on March 10-14. With the addition of the state-of-the-art digital court, this year’s tournament is sure to be even more exciting for players and fans alike.
We are excited to see the impact that this innovative technology will have on the future of basketball and proud to be the first to introduce it in the United States. Stay tuned for more updates and advancements in the world of sports technology from Sports Club Florida.
