It goes without saying that Week 4 of the regular season was not a good week for all of our Florida-based NFL teams.
The Philadelphia Eagles spoiled the return of former Super Bowl-winning head coach Doug Pederson by defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars 29-21. Initially, the Jaguars raced out to a 14-0 lead thanks to an interception return for TD by S Andre Cisco as well as a 4 yard TD by Jamal Agnew. While the Jaguars limited big pass plays down the field, their run defense was abysmal. The Eagles scored 3 rushing TDs in the second quarter and ran for over 210 yards overall. Trevor Lawrence had a game so bad that he may need to buy a memory eraser to forget it ever happened. He had an interception and four fumbles.
Chances are never given. They tooken like interceptions!@andrecisco7 | #DUUUVAL pic.twitter.com/JruWqJjMfv

The Miami Dolphins lost to the Cincinnati Bengals 27-15 on a game that was overshadowed by Tua Tagovailoa’s injury. The Bengals offense looked as good as it has been all year. To be honest, it was a tall task for the Miami Dolphins to focus after the injury to Tua. As a Alabama grad it was a tough watch to see Tua stumble. It is mind boggling why Tua even played in such a short week given the injuries he suffered in Week 3.
Don’t see how #Tua can return with the form of posturing in his arms/hands/fingers. Can’t be anything else but presumed head trauma that can explain that away. pic.twitter.com/gW0SpzMWz0

Teddy Bridgewater started over 60+ games as a starter. There was no reason not to start him. Bridgewater could have led the team into a win if the reps were there.
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs got their revenge on Tampa Bay by defeating them 41-31. The Buccaneers defense had no answer for Mahomes. Mahomes threw for 3 touchdowns and was made to look like a wizard.
Here is the field view of Patrick Mahomes throw. This really shows you how ludicrous it really was! ???? pic.twitter.com/PxR1kanixx

On top of that, the Chiefs rushed for 189 yards. Brady would throw for 385 yards and 3 touchdowns. Yet, the Buccaneers gained practically nothing on the ground as they were playing catch-up all night. Is the dynasty of Brady in for a rough awakening?
Weekly NFL Roundup and Predictions | Bounce Back Upon Us?
While Week 4 may have been bad for all the Florida-based teams in the NFL, I believe Week 5 will be the complete opposite.
The Miami Dolphins will go on the road for a divisional matchup against the NY Jets next week. I don’t think the Jets have an answer for Tyreek Hill. I believe the Miami Dolphins defense will benefit from the few extra days of preparation and make life difficult for Zach Wilson. Teddy Bridgewater will benefit from this too.
I pick the Dolphins over the Jets 27-17.
The Jacksonville Jaguars will face the Houston Texans in a divisional matchup next week. I feel Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars defense will bounce back against a Houston Texans that is going nowhere fast. If Trevor Lawrence is looking to redeem himself, the Texans are a perfect opponent for him to do such a thing.
I pick the Jaguars over the Texans 31-10.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a divisional matchup at home against the Falcons. I believe the Bucs defense will be quite pissed from Sunday’s performance and take their frustrations outon the Falcons. The same applies for Tom Brady. Considering that the Falcons are 21st against the run, the Bucs running game will have a resurgence as well.
I pick the Buccaneers over the Falcons 35-17.
