SKILLS AND SCALES
Head Coach Shalon Pillow’s Rattlers kept FAMU close in the first half of their visit to Gainesville, but a tough fourth quarter put a season-opening win out of reach.
However, the game still provided plenty to be excited about in Tallahassee. In addition to leading UF in total field goal percentage, The Rattlers boasted three scorers with 10+ points in Dylan Horton (20), Ahriahna Grizzle (11), and Ivet Subirats (10). In the backcourt, Mide Oriyomi led the Rattlers’ defensive presence, leading the team in rebounds (11) and steals (3).
