CHAMPIONSHIP RATTLERS

Florida A&M’s volleyball team defeated Mississippi Valley State 25-1 in the first set, and that wasn’t even the most exciting news of the day. The 3-0 FAMU victory on Sunday (Nov. 13) also earned the Rattlers a share of the Southwestern Athletic Conference regular season title.

The reigning tournament champions conclude their regular season 18-12, 15-1 in the conference, and have locked the No. 2 seed in the upcoming SWAC tourney (Nov. 18-20).

NEXT: 2022 SWAC Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 18-20 in Houston, Texas, on the campus of Texas Southern.
