The team can only take what it learned from Saturday’s loss and apply it against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday.
The Toronto Raptors (12-11) were too much for the Orlando Magic (5-19) in a Saturday night battle at ScotiaBank Arena.
Orlando got off to a bad start and never managed to extricate itself from an insurmountable hole.
Toronto dominated from start to finish, and the Magic couldn’t handle the energy the crowd provided. Several Orlando players had some of their worst games of the season as a result.
Despite Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner scoring a season-worst nine points apiece, the bench made the score look respectable. Terrence Ross went 7 for 7 from the field and scored a team-high 18 points, while Cole Anthony recorded 12 and Admiral Schofield had a season-high 13.
The Magic have now lost eight straight games, which is the second-longest losing streak in the league, behind the San Antonio Spurs, who have lost 10 straight games.
Let’s hope the Magic get things together against the Bucks on Monday.
