As The First Academy Rebels gear up for an exciting new season, they bring a roster filled with talented and driven players ready to make their mark on the field. Among them is Derrick Callwood, known as the “Bounceback,” who is determined to overcome past challenges and deliver exceptional performances. With a 4.0 weighted GPA and a 3.5 unweighted GPA, Callwood exemplifies his dedication not only to athletics but also to his academic pursuits, making him a well-rounded student-athlete who embodies the Panthers’ spirit of excellence.

Leading the team from the quarterback position is Brooks Tulp, a natural-born leader who is admired by his teammates. Tulp’s leadership qualities and ability to motivate his team make him an invaluable asset to the Panthers’ success. When it comes to his college aspirations, Tulp’s primary focus is on playing the game he loves, regardless of the level. This selfless attitude and dedication to the sport highlight his passion and commitment to the team’s success.

Julian Anderson, also known as Juju, stands tall at 6’4″ and demonstrates versatility both as a wide receiver and a defensive end. Juju’s athleticism and hybrid abilities make him a dynamic player who contributes effectively in various positions. Despite this being his first year playing football, his natural talent and adaptability have already made a significant impact on the Panthers. Juju’s willingness to play wherever needed adds depth and flexibility to the team’s strategies, making him a key player to watch out for this season.

Liam Sweeney, donning the number 54, exemplifies the Panthers’ commitment to both athletic and academic excellence. With dreams of playing football in college, Sweeney understands the value of a college degree for long-term success. Holding an impressive 5.29 weighted GPA and a perfect 4.0 unweighted GPA, Sweeney demonstrates his commitment to academic pursuits. With a passion for Computer Science and STEM, Sweeney envisions a future career in these fields, and his dedication both on and off the field sets him apart as a standout student-athlete.
