In an exclusive interview with Coach Jackson, the head coach of the Cypress Creek Animal football team, we delved into their remarkable achievements last season and their ambitions for the upcoming year. Coach Jackson reflected on their historic 7-3 season, the best in the school’s history, and highlighted the team’s efforts to carry that momentum forward.

The previous season was a significant milestone for Cypress Creek Animal as they clinched the district title, marking a historic achievement for the program. Coach Jackson acknowledged the exceptional talent and dedication displayed by the players, who exceeded expectations and played above their level. Building upon this success, the team aims to maintain the winning mentality and propel themselves to even greater heights.

Heading into the new season, Cypress Creek Animal is embracing change with new coaches joining the team. Despite the adjustments, the team remains focused on fostering a culture of discipline, urgency, and continuous improvement. Spring practice and the upcoming game against University High School are seen as crucial opportunities to gauge progress and lay the foundation for the season ahead.

Among the players to watch, Naeem stands out as a versatile athlete. Primarily a starting receiver, Naeem also serves as the team’s second-string quarterback and contributes to the defense, displaying his versatility and value to the team. Additionally, Dave Barrios, a lineman adept at center and tackle positions, demonstrates his prowess on both offense and defense. Cam Brown, the starting quarterback, also showcases his defensive skills, reflecting the team’s commitment to having players contribute on both sides of the ball.

Cypress Creek Animal sets itself apart from other programs with its commitment to providing opportunities for freshmen and sophomores to play on the varsity level. This inclusive approach allows younger players to gain valuable experience and exposure, fostering their growth and development. The campus boasts updated facilities, including a spacious stadium, and the addition of a new practice field further enhances the training environment.

Coach Jackson emphasized the importance of keeping talented athletes within the Cypress Creek Animal program and within the local area. By recruiting and nurturing talent from within, the team aims to maintain a strong roster and continue building a winning culture. Parents seeking an environment that offers early exposure, modern facilities, and a focus on player development will find Cypress Creek Animal to be an enticing choice for their aspiring football players.

As the new season approaches, Cypress Creek Animal Football is determined to build upon the historic success of the previous year. With dedicated players, a supportive coaching staff, and a focus on cultivating a winning culture, the team aspires to make further strides and leave a lasting impact on the field.

We extend our best wishes to Coach Jackson and the entire Cypress Creek Animal football team as they embark on their journey toward another remarkable season.
