SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE

First and foremost, the Lion put on a show for the Exploria Stadium faithful on Saturday night. Orlando City was down by two goals early, well into the second half of the game. That’s when Martín Ojeda, Iván Angulo and Felipe Martins checked into the game, finding the back of the net, and tying things up at 1-1.

However, Orlando’s defense remained shaky, as they gave up the lead late once more. With the Lion down 3-1, midfielder Martín Ojeda connected with the 22-year old phenome Ramiro Enrique, who set up Facundo Torres for the thundering strike on target, 3-2 advantage for Columbus. The Lions would balance things out again, after a free kick strike, courtesy of Enrique.

But the best moment of a great night for the electrifying Argentine striker came in the final minutes. Standing the middle of the box, surrounded by yellow jerseys, Ramiro Enrique rebounded another free kick, and finessed the game-wining goal in a story-book ending for the Lions.

PRIDE ROCKIN’

Times are good in Orlando City right now.

With that thrilling performance, the Lions extend their home game winning-streak to 11-straight games. Sitting comfortably in the East, behind only first-place Cincinnati in points, and win-lose total.

As Inter Miami appears to be returning to Earth, and the legendary Lionel Messi appears to be enjoying a well-deserve rest, the window to League Cup glory appears to be cracked open for Orlando City.
