Proven to be the backbone of Orlando City SC, Luiz Muzzi and Ricardo Moreira have signed new two-year contracts until 2025. Moreria was promoted to Vice President of Soccer Operations, and Muzzi remained as the EVP of soccer operations and general manager.
“Luiz and Ricardo have been instrumental to all that has been accomplished over Orlando City’s recent history, and we are very excited to have them both back for the foreseeable future to lead our City, OCB and Academy Soccer Operations,” said Club Owner and Chairman, Mark Wilf.
This dynamic duo is responsible for constructing a historic defining roster. With Uruguayan star Facundo Torres, goalkeeper Pedro Gallese, and center-back Robin Jansson it is impossible to ignore Orlando City’s momentous 2023 season. Celebrating 63 points with 18 Wins, 7 losses, and only 9 draws.
Moreira states, “We’ve achieved a lot in the last few years, and I look forward to working and achieving even more together. As someone who always tells people to trust the process, here I am. I trust our process.”
Hoping to maintain this momentum, many anticipate the upcoming seasons with Muzzi and Moreira.
