Scoring woes continue to haunt the Orlando Magic for the second straight game as the team shot below 40FG% once again in Sunday’s 111-97 loss to the Indiana Pacers.

After racking up five wins in a row, the Magic has dropped consecutive games for the first time since losing to Cleveland and Memphis last January.

Paolo Banchero led his team with 19 points but shot 6-for-20 on the floor. Second-unit sparkplug Cole Anthony added 16 points off the bench, though on a 4-for-14 shooting clip.

All-Star point guard Tyrese Halliburton starred for Indiana, filling in the boxscore sheet with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Pascal Siakam also finished with 20 points, while Obi Toppin and T.J McConnell delivered 17 each off the bench.

Orlando, who averages 111 points per contest this season, is dealing with a scoring dilemma that limited them to under 40 FG% and 100 points for back-to-back games.

Two nights ago in New York, the Magic suffered the same predicament as they logged in 34 FG% and 23 3PT% en route to a 98-74 blowout loss to the Knicks.

Orlando (37-28) has a light schedule this week, taking on the Brooklyn Nets on March 13, the Toronto Raptors on March 14 and 17, and the Charlotte Hornets on March 19.
