UCF Football has locked in another serious talent for their upcoming campaigns, securing a commitment from tight end Caden Piening of Anderson High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The UCF Knights announced Piening’s decision to play at UCF on social media platform X, giving more reasons for their supporters to be excited about the program’s future.
Piening is a 3-star recruit out of Cincinnati in the class of 2025. He made in the All-Conference team in his junior season after catching 35 passes for 624 yards and five touchdowns. He also recorded two rushing touchdowns.

Before he committed to play for the Knights, Piening visited UCF last February 4 and was scheduled to have a second visit in May. He also received offers from other heavyweight football teams like Texas A&M, Louisville, and Florida.
At 6-foot-4, 230-pound, Piening will give UCF a much-needed size at the tight end position. If he continues to grow with the program, he could flourish into a reliable downfield target for the Knights
