The Orlando Magic put an end to their three-game losing streak on Saturday after coming through with a wire-to-wire victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, 118-88, at Kia Center in Orlando, Florida.

After losing to a trio of Western Conference contender, the Magic finally secured a victory, although against a sub .500 team, to get back on track in their postseason push.

5 noteworthy numbers that stood out from the Magic’s recent game

22 3PTS– the Magic converted 50 percent of their three-point attempts, going 22 of their 44 from beyond the three-point arc. Before these long bomb exhibitions, Orlando shot 10-for-35 vs. the Kings, 10-for-32 vs. the Warriors, and 10-for-29 vs. the Clippers.

36FG% – Orlando’s defense held the Grizzlies to 36% shooting from the field. They also allowed only 12 three-point conversions throughout the game.

7 Players – The number of Magic players who scored in double figures. Wendell Carter Jr. and Jalen Suggs each tallied 15 points to lead a balanced attack for the home team.

+39 plus/minus rating – Carter Jr. recorded the highest +/- in his double-double performance (15 points and 13 rebounds) vs. the Grizzlies. Paolo Banchero was a +34 after compiling 13 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists in 30 minutes.

33-point in 1Q – The Magic outscored the Grizzlies 33-13 to build a 20-point lead at the end of the first 12 minutes of play. Orlando sustained their big lead over the next three quarters for an easy win.

The Magic, sitting in fifth place in the East standings with a 43-31 slate, will wrap up their 8-game homestand against the Portland Trail Blazers on April 3.
