Rob Starkman, the creator and CEO of Rock’Em Socks, has purchased the original court “where it all started,” bringing the UCF Knights’ iconic black-and-gold wooden tile court to the forefront of his company’s headquarters in Orlando, Florida.
In an interview with Fox35, Starkman said it seemed like a complete circle moment for him to purchase the court where the notion of customized socks originated.

“When I started as a basketball manager, I never thought of owning this court,” said Starkman, a former student manager for the Knights men’s basketball team.
Rock’Em Socks has over 10,000 different designs for customizable socks. The company’s current relationships with the NBA, NFL, and Disney have enabled the release of various interesting designs featuring your favorite teams and Disney characters.
