Miami Heat’s big man Bam Adebayo played efficient minutes in Team USA’s 98-92 win over Australia on Monday at Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
Playing behind Joel Embiid at the center position, Adebayo scored 10 points on 4-for-5 FG shooting and 2-for-2 from the free-throw line in 18 minutes of play. The Heat big man also grabbed two of Team USA’s 42 rebounds in the game.
Anthony Davis tallied a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds, while Devin Booker recorded 16 points on 4-for-7 FG shooting and 7-for-7 from the free-throw line.
Joel Embiid and Anthony Edwards contributed 14 points each to help Team USA fend off a comeback attempt from the Aussie late in the game.
