UCF Knights men’s basketball team enters the most crucial four-game stretch of their 2023-2024 college basketball campaign as they face several tough teams, including a pair of National Championship contenders on their home floor.

After salvaging a morale-boosting win over No.23 Texas Tech last week, the Knights need to sustain their A-game throughout the remainder of the regular season for them to secure better positioning in the Big 12 tournament.

UCF will be playing Oklahoma State on the road this February 28 before hosting a couple of college basketball powerhouse for their last two-game homestand.

No.8 Iowa State will visit on March 2, and four days later, Houston, the No.1 team in the nation, will take center stage at Addition Financial Arena on March 6. UCF will wrap up their Big 12 regular-season campaign on the road against TCU on March 9.

With the Big 12 Tournament just around the corner, the Knights need to come up with solid performances in their next four games to give them a better shot at avoiding tough teams in the early phase of the tournament.

While it has been an up-and-down season, UCF still has a realistic shot at making it into the NCAA tournament if they do well in these succeeding matches and the conference tournament.

The Knights will be relying on top scorers Jaylin Sellers (16.5 PPG) and Darius Johnson (14.3 PPG) to take charge on the offensive end,. blocking expert Ibrahima Diallo is expected to hold his ground on the defensive end.

The Knights, who carry a 14-12 overall record and 5-9 slate in the Big 12, toppled a handful of college basketball heavyweights this season, including No.3 Kansas (65-60), Texas (77-71), and Oklahoma (74-63) and recently Texas Tech.
