As a talent team still learning how to win, the Orlando Magic came short to the host Cleveland Cavaliers, 103-92.
According to some fans, the Orlando Magic are “the best ‘kept the game close, but lost in the 4th’ team in the NBA” this season. This optimistic twist on a five game start to a season that has yet to witness a Magic win, may encourage some while making other’s sick. What’s undeniable, is this team’s performance continues to reveal an incredibly high ceiling for this squad.
THE ENEMY OF GOOD
Unfortunately injuries continue to be the greatest obstacle for Orlando. Following the game in Cleveland, the team reported that Cole Anthony had gone underwent imaging for discomfort. Later, this revealed a right internal oblique muscle injury, sidelining Anthony once again. A leader in the Magic locker room, Anthony was missed during the season opener while suffering from undisclosed illness, and now joins Jalen Suggs (right ankle), Markelle Fultz (toe), Moe Wagner (sprained right midfoot), Gary Harris (left knee rehabilitation), and Jonathan Isaac (left knee rehabilitation) in unavailability.
Hopefully a full, speedy recovery is in the cards for No. 50, we wish him nothing less.

CUP HALF FULL
As our young stars continue to gain invaluable game time experience, and reps, this Magic fans is optimistic about how the end of the regular season will look for Orlando. Despite their current record, this Magic team has yet to be outmatched this season, outside of the final 12 minutes. That’s exciting.
NEXT: The Magic return to Amway Center on Oct. 28, to welcome a familiar face: Coach Steve Clifford, and his Charlotte Hornets.
