Though voluntary, the two week period beginning today marks the canvas upon which the 2024 Buccaneers will paint this year’s hopeful masterpiece. There has been relatively nothing substantial for the fans to complain about, as Tampa’s front office has masterfully pulled off every move they set out to achieve during the offseason.
Sign Mike Evans to a new deal? Check. Reward Baker Mayfield for a career resurrection even Lazarus could be proud of? Check. Keep defensive cornerstone Lavonte David in red & pewter? Also check. General Manager Jason Licht is batting .1000 and with Draft Day only ten days away the NFL prospect world is his oyster to pluck from and round out his defending Division Champ roster with.
No word yet on which players have yet or will show up in the next couple weeks of voluntary meetings and training, but Coach Todd Bowles and company will provide an outline to the team ranging from in person whiteboard style meetings to physical training and health monitoring. AdventHealth Training Facility is State of the Art, so expect a fully healthy, motivated 53 man roster heading into 2024.
We will have any noteworthy developments or player specific details during the week’s meetings when they happen here at SCF.
