ORLANDO – Due to the approach of Hurricane Milton towards Florida, UCF Athletics has decided to cancel all upcoming home athletic events scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 9 and Thursday, Oct. 10.

The upcoming events consist of a volleyball game against Colorado on Wednesday and a women’s soccer game against Arizona on Thursday. Additionally, the first day of the ITA Southeast Regionals for men’s tennis on Thursday has been called off.

The teams will attempt to schedule a new date, but there is currently no immediate plan for a makeup game.

The home events on Friday, including the men’s soccer game against Marshall and the volleyball game against Iowa State, are still scheduled to take place. University authorities are closely monitoring the storm. The football game against Cincinnati on Saturday is still planned for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff at FBC Mortgage.
