MIAMI’S LATEST, TEXAN’S FIRST
Legendary wideout Andre Lamont Johnson has become the first player to start their career with the NFL’s Houston Texans, to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Long before his professional career, Johnson was a star at Miami Senior High School. As a senior, Johnson caught 32 passes for 931 yards, was named an All-American, and cemented his ‘hometown hero’ status committing to the University of Miami.
