A new dynamic duo is shaping up at Central Florida’s football field as UCF Knights Football shared on social media platform X a short clip of new quarterback KJ Jefferson finding incoming senior wide receiver Kobe Hudson on a terrific long-range pass that got every Knights football fan excited for next season.
Jefferson is getting more comfortable in every rep he has with his new squad in the first week of training activities at UCF. It also did not take long for the quarterback to find an ideal partner down the field with Hudson becoming the primary recipient of his passes down the field.

UCF’s inaugural Big 12 campaign last season has produced a lengthy highlight reel of aerial assaults from quarterback John Ryss Plumlee and wide receiver Javon Baker. The tandem was the backbone of the Knights’ offense last season, creating tons of scoring opportunities through their potent passing attacks.
For this upcoming season, UCF will again rely on a pair of seniors in Jefferson and Hudson to take the lead in offense as these players look to end their college football careers with a bang.
The 22-year-old Jefferson compiled a stellar career at Arkansas, setting new program records for career passing yards, passing touchdowns and completions, and highest career completion percentage.
After five years at Arkansas, Jefferson decided to take his talent to Central Florida and play his final year of eligibility with the UCF Knights.
Hudson, on the other hand, will finally get the spotlight as the No.1 downfield option following Baker’s departure. Despite sharing the field with another talented wideout, Hudson covered 900 yards on 44 receptions and 8 touchdowns.
