The American Athletic Conference has announced that the Memphis vs. South Florida football game has been relocated to Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
The matchup will now take place on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Originally set for Friday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m., the change was made out of an abundance of caution for the safety of student-athletes, coaches, and staff due to the approach of Hurricane Milton.
The decision to move the game from Raymond James Stadium was made in collaboration with local law enforcement to prioritize public safety and consider the ongoing response and recovery efforts in the Tampa Bay area, as well as logistical concerns for both teams.
